We offer a combined Building Consultancy Service which has led to the role out of multiple sites which included 300 Acquisition Surveys for Cheque Centres within an 18-month period, followed by the design and fitout of 150 new stores. This lead to a speciality in the finance market where we were involved in establishing role-out programmes for similar financial companies.

We offer a specialist service in the assessment and management of store closures and portfolio rationalisation. Over a 10-year period we have assisted in the closure of over 500 shops for a variety of retailers. This often includes the negotiation of financial settlements of the clients, such as Thorntons and Dixons Carphone where we have designed and managed the Dilapidation exit works for over 200 stores.

As part of our Dilapidations advice we have developed an efficient and accurate method of assessing Dilapidations Liability and we are able to advise on single sites through to large portfolios. For example, we inspected and reported on 103 PC Worlds as part of the Dixon Carphone Project Berlin rationalisation within a 6-week period. The information collated was instrumental in the successful rationalisation of their out of town retail portfolio which created improved profits for the company.

By combining a variety of our specialist skills including Access Consultancy, Asbestos, Compliance Auditing and Planned Maintenance we have undertaken portfolio surveys for a number of retailers and restaurant operators including Thorntons, TGI Fridays and KFC to provide a combined cost-effective means of establishing current liabilities and spreading expenditure.
